Microsoft Honors Extend Solutions with Fourth Partner of the Year Awards

Toronto, Canada, hosted the 2012 edition of the Worldwide Partner Conference (WPC).



Held from 09 to 12 July, at which time Microsoft recognizes its partners. With over 3,000 nominations and several new categories designed to assess the partners who made a difference in their community, the judges had a difficult task ahead.; During this conference framework, they talked about the technology vision that Microsoft is preparing to the coming years, also, the community leaders Microsoft, took advantage of this time to strengthen business relationships at local and regional levels.

Extend Solutions contract leverages Windows Azure

Mexico, DF, July 23, 2012.

Extend Solutions sum to his credit one of the most significant success stories as leverage one of the largest contracts signed by Microsoft on the Windows Azure platform, that attends in Mexico the electronic invoice validation needs for "Sistema de Administración Tributaria" ( SAT).



Extend adopted Windows Azure on a system that serves as the interface between the PAC and the SAT for the PAC sends customer bills with name and signature and will be returned by the administering agency and validated.

This project whit SAT, México, is the largest system operated in the Azure cloud in the world. The system interacts with 500,000 daily invoices, is expected to grow to these million and a half after the changes that will be for next year.

What is Extend Tag ?

Extend tag is a solution based on the design and implementation of mobile tags (two-dimensional bar code), which are two-dimensional images containing information to be decoded by a mobile application (Tag Reader) available for any operating system iPhone iPod, iPad such as tablets or cell phones with Android, Symbian, RIM Blackberry or Windows Phone.

The tag consists of a set of 4 to 8 colors, its ability to encode and store information is broad in comparison with traditional bar codes like QR Code.

The particularity of these codes is that they do not store the information itself, but contain identifiers. These identifiers are sent to the Extend servers, which is stored the actual information that relates to this identifier. This allows for extended information, track enhanced by the author of the information, and even edit it dynamically.
